The BCI-Dahlgren team primarily supports the U.S. Navy by helping to define and engineer future ship and combat systems. The experience of our engineers and previous ship operators and commanding officers provide a unique capability to determine future system performance parameters based on sound operational and engineering principles. Since 1995, our systems engineering team has worked on the leading edge of technology in developing advanced concepts for combat systems, training, maintenance, human-systems integration, and command and control. Our basic approach is to find, hire, and reward superb employees who provide a quality product that cannot be matched by any other company.
BCI's growth has been noted for both 1998 and 1999 in Inc. magazine's Inc. 500 list of America´s fastest-growing private companies. We were also included in the 1999 Deloitte and Touche Technology Fast 500 list of the fastest-growing tech companies in the U.S. as published in Forbes ASAP magazine.
BCI's Dahlgren office opened in August 1995 with two employees, launching a new business thrust for BCI in the areas of combat systems, training, and readiness support. Within six months, BCI-Dahlgren was awarded a 5-year, $7 million contract. Over the next several years, the Dahlgren Division expanded to satisfy growing customer requirements for our reasonably priced, high quality services. The Dahlgren Division has grown by over 15% annually, with employees and consultants located throughout the United States and in Tokyo, Japan, and who support a variety of DoD and Industry
customers.
We continue to steadily grow and undertake new challenges as opportunities present themselves.
