Fleet Feedback and Quality Assurance Program Product Area

Product Area Summary:

Conducts Fleet feedback for various Navy programs, including AEGIS, Carrier and Expeditionary Strike Group (CSG/ESG) Interoperability, and Ballistic Missile Defense. Survey visits to Strike Group Commanders and Staffs, Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) and Amphibious Squadron (PHIBRON) Commanders and Staffs, AEGIS Ballistic Missile Defense (ABMD) Ship Patrollers, Combatant Commanders (COCOMs), Fleet Staffs and the Office of Chief of Naval Operations (CNO/OPNAV) as well as to individual ships, air squadrons, and Marine Corps elements are used to generate issues or topic areas. These issues or topic areas address corrections, improvements, or new capabilities identified by the Fleet in areas such as training, installation, baseline delivery, logistics support, computer programs, equipment, and operating doctrine and policy. Information from these visits is directly applicable to future baseline engineering efforts and platform certification decisions.
