BCI-Dahlgren opened its doors in 1995, primarily supporting the U.S. Navy's future ship and combat system programs. The experience of our degreed engineers and previous ship operators and maintainers provides a unique capability to determine future system performance parameters based on sound operational and engineering principles. Since 1995, our systems engineering team has worked on the leading edge of technology in developing advanced concepts for combat systems, training, maintenance, human-systems integration, and command and control. The BCI employees working at the Naval Ship Systems Engineering Station (NAVSSES) in Philadelphia provide engineering, technical and logistics support for the construction, overhaul, modernization, or repair of shipboard Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) systems. For the past 15 years, BCI has supported the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (both West Bethesda and Philadelphia sites) Research Development Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) network in the areas of overall network support, Information Assurance (IA), Scanning and Remediation, governance and policy, and System Security Authorization Agreement (SSAA) and DoD IA Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) packages.
